Each year, approximately 5% of practitioners are selected for a CPD audit under the direction of the Medical Board of Australia. If you are selected, you will be notified directly by email. Audits are a routine part of CPD oversight and do not indicate that you have done anything wrong.
The Audit Guide is your primary resource if you are selected for audit. It has been developed to support you through the process and clearly explains what an audit involves, what information may be requested, and how to upload appropriate evidence to demonstrate compliance with CPD requirements. The guide is designed to make the audit process as clear, practical, and stress-free as possible.
The Audit Policy is a separate document which outlines how CPD Australia ensures the quality and integrity of its CPD Program. In line with Medical Board of Australia requirements, it explains our annual audit framework, including practitioner selection and broader quality assurance processes such as user engagement and quality review.
